Royal Commission Hospital as Center for Cornea Transplantation

The Ministry of Health has approved the R.C.H. – Jubail as Center for Cornea Transplantation. The hospital is well equipped with all human and technical facilities required to perform such operations.

The decision has been issued by the MOH represented by the Saudi Society for organ transplantation.

For this purpose a committee formed, from the above mentioned society and is authorized to visit and to evaluate the hospital technical and human facilities. The committee reassured that all human and technical requirements are available in the hospital.

Two operations have been successfully performed. The other patients have been schedule for the same operations in the future.

In the past these kinds of operations were performed out side Jubail area which cost a lot of money and time.
