Conclusion of the Scientific Symposium About Hypertension

The Scientific Symposium about Hypertension closed it’s sessions on 4/5/1427H. His Excellency Deputy D.G. for the Public Services at Royal Commission – Engineer Adnan Bin Ayish Al-Alouni opened the Symposium on 3/5/1427H. The Symposium had been held In the Conferences Hall in Jubail Industrial City.

The Symposium had been organized by the National Committee for Hypertension in cooperation with Health Services Department and under the sponsoring of Al-Mana Hospital-Jubail.

Mr. Ibrahim Al-Mughari Director of HSD-R.C. delivered speech welcome and greets the guests and the participants. He mentioned the significant and the goals of the Symposium. He also emphasized the role of the HSD in escorting of the new discoveries in the field of medicine and spreading of health education among the public.

More than (600) male and female physicians participated in this symposium coming from different hospitals in the Eastern Region. They discussed the issues related to the Hypertension (The average of the affected people in the Kingdom is %21 of the adult citizens).

Engineer Al-Alouni inaugurated Exhibition organized by the sponsoring Cos. and also a Medical Books Fair. At the end of ceremony he remunerated the speaker’s physicians and the sponsoring Cos.

This Symposium and accompanied exhibitions reflect the essential role of R.C. in enhancing of the continuous medical education program and enlightenment of Jubail community.
