Symposium for New Qualifying Health Facilities Program

Symposium has been opened on Sunday 24/12/1427H. attended by Mr. Ibrahim Al- Mughari the Director General of Health Services Department in jubail instral city and the Quality Council in the Eastern Region in cooperation with the Royal Commission.

The goal of the Symposium was the activation of Health Quality policy presented to the citizens and residents of the Kingdom.

A group of government and private hospitals in the region have participated in the symposium. sixty (male & female) physicians beside quality specialists have participated in the Symposium.

The Symposium was held in the conference and lectures center in jubail indstral city.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi the secretary of quality council in the eastern region thanked the Royal Commission on hosting and managing the event then he talked about:

• The significant of the Quality Council.

• The obstacles that delay the improvement of the Quality in the Hospitals at the present time and in the future.

• The goals of the medical insurance.

• The necessity to establish Regional Quality Councils

• The goals of these Councils.

The symposium concluded with the formation of working groups in various professions such as nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, as well as supervisors and leaders to discuss quality standards for each profession.
